Structured, work-group format; participants use a workbook specifically designed for IA recovery. Most members will also be in recovery from sexual or pornography addiction. Builds in support, intimacy psychoeducation, skill building, skill practice, and accountability.

The Facing the Shadow group will help you achieve sobriety and deep your recovery. The group provides the tools, strategies and knowledge necessary to stop unwanted sexual behavior. Your band of brothers will provide support and accountability for taking action as you implement your recovery blueprint.

Task Blueprint

There are decades of research on sexual recovery. We know the path to sobriety and a deeper recovery: accept the 30-Task challenge and get started, with support of your group buddies.

Set boundaries that are personal to your sobriety.

Identify cravings and how to resist them.

Analyze your pattern of acting out, whether it be sexual or with other addictive substances or behaviors.

Build and enforce an ongoing defensive system for preventing relapse.

Address the roots that lead to acting out behaviors as a way of managing your life.

Overcome changes in the brain that work against long-term recovery.

Relational Attunement

Take ownership of the harm done to loved ones.

Learn about the impact of partner betrayal trauma on your spouse. Begin to respond in ways that help your partner heal.

Meet the needs in your relationship in healthy ways, rather than medicating as an alternative to medicating with acting out behaviors.

This group is led by Dr. Anthony Walker. Anthony is a seasoned recovery coach who works both nationally and internationally. He is a Help.Her.Heal facilitator and is ERCEM (Early Recovery Couples Empathy Model) trained.

He brings particular expertise in the impact of addiction and betrayal on your spouse and family and incorporates that as part of the recovery group focus.

If you have experienced betrayal in its many forms, sex or pornography addiction, infidelity, intimate deception, gaslighting, intimacy deprivation, and all the other ways you have been disempowered by the person you thought you could trust to protect your heart, our open arms are waiting for you.

Empowerment goes beyond just surviving a shattered heart, beyond healing from betrayal trauma to the act of empowering yourself. Empowerment is defined as the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in claiming your rights by finding and cultivating your inner power. We are a tribe of women seeking our truth. Our tribal mission is healing partners, one heart at a time. Our quest – Hope, Healing, Empowerment. Come join our tribe.

Empowerment work group for women healing from a loved one’s infidelity, pornography, or sex addiction – a tribe of betrayed women, hurting women, angry women, grieving women, sassy women, awakening women, healing women, transforming women, women ready to rise like the Phoenix into the inner power of their own light.

Helps you understand the nature of your spouse's betrayal and its traumatic impact on you.

Provides practical tools for recovery and coaching on how to use them.

Feeling married and alone in your relationship?

Still reeling from the legacy of sexual betrayal, yet finding the longer term intimacy deprivation to have done more damage?

Empowerment work group for women healing from a loved one’s pornography, sex addiction, or intimacy anorexia – a tribe of betrayed and intimacy-deprived women; a tribe of women whose depth of betrayal and abandonment may not be entirely recognized in traditional partner groups; a tribe of women who know that their path to soaring is more complicated.

Uses a partner betrayal trauma model of recovery.

Recognizes patterns of intimacy deprivation associated with intimacy anorexia.

Helps you understand sexual and intimacy anorexia betrayal and abandonment and its traumatic impact on you.

Provides practical tools for recovery and coaching on how to use them.

Helps you understand the relational trauma you are struggling with and provides the support of the tribe in working through the emotional fallout.

Unidas: Grupo de apoyo para el trauma de la traición

Un espacio de apoyo y empoderamiento para mujeres latinas hispanohablantes, bilingües y que hablan "spanglish" que han sufrido traición, sea por infidelidad o por estar casadas con alguien con conductas sexuales problemáticas. Este grupo ofrece un entorno culturalmente sensible para la sanación, la conexión y el crecimiento personal.

Latinas Unidas es un grupo de apoyo compasivo creado para mujeres latinas que han experimentado el trauma de la traición, sea por infidelidad o por las conductas sexuales problemáticas de su pareja. Como hijas de primera generación de padres inmigrantes, hispanohablantes, bilingües o quienes navegan entre dos culturas, merecen una comunidad que comprenda sus desafíos únicos.

Aquí encontrarán un espacio seguro y de apoyo para compartir su historia, conectar con mujeres fuertes, y emprender un camino de sanación y crecimiento. A través de conversaciones y experiencias compartidas, nos mantenemos unidas en fuerza, hermandad y resiliencia. No están solas, sanamos juntas.

Latinas Unidas: Betrayal Trauma Support Group

A supportive and empowering space for Spanish-speaking, bilingual, and "Spanglish"-speaking Latina women who have experienced betrayal—whether through infidelity or marriage to someone with problematic sexual behaviors. This group provides a culturally sensitive environment for healing, connection, and growth.

Latinas Unidas is a compassionate support group created for Latina women who have experienced betrayal trauma—whether through infidelity or a partner’s problematic sexual behaviors. As first-generation daughters of immigrant parents, Spanish-only speakers, bilingual women, or those navigating two cultures, you deserve a community that understands your unique challenges.

Here, you’ll find a safe and supportive space to share your story, connect with strong, like-minded women, and embark on a journey of healing and growth. Through discussions and shared experiences, we stand together in strength, sisterhood, and resilience. You are not alone—we heal together.
