I am the Senior Consultant for the Somatic Experiencing and intensive trauma team, offering guidance on a collaborative body psychotherapeutic approach for a wide array of physical, developmental, relational, shock trauma, and life transitions. I assist in developing a healing roadmap for interpersonal trauma stemming from childhood neglect and abuse, shame, and attachment wounds by integrating body/mind/spiritual healing techniques grounded in the body and honoring the individual’s healing journey. I have been a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and an Alexander Technique teacher since 2001. I am also a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist, APSATS-trained to treat partner betrayal trauma. I also lead a Somatic Experiencing/polyvagal-informed study group for CSATs, CPTTs, and APSATS. I am licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor in the state of Virginia.

I am trained in several healing modalities. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in VA, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and an Alexander Technique Teacher. I have advanced somatic skills training with Kathy Kain, Steve Terrell in touch work, and Diane Poole Heller Ph.D. – DARe Attachment workshops, Dave Berger – BASE. I have also trained with Raja Selvam, and Ana Do Valle, OT. Additionally, I am trained in Brainspotting, Deep Brain Reorienting, and Inner Relationship Focusing, working on the attachment relationship we have with ourselves.
I have coordinated multiple Somatic Experiencing trainings and have assisted multiple training facilitators, including Peter Levine, originator of Somatic Experiencing. I am approved by SETI to offer consults and personal sessions for students at all levels of SE trainings.
